Thoracic & Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation was founded in June 1991. We are a nonprofit medical research foundation that utilizes the 30 physicians and 90,000 patient population of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Institute.
We have conducted over 180 clinical trials and we are actively recruiting more studies.
We have participated with Duke Clinical Research ,Temple University, NIH, Canadian Institutes of Health, University of Michigan, Henry Ford Coordinating Center, and Cleveland Clinic Research Consortium. We have worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Medtronic, Intratherapeutics, CPI, Pacesetter, Lilly, Cordis, Boehringer-Mannheim, Abbott, Cook, Ross Medical, Merck, Astra-Zeneca, Guidant, Berlex, St. Jude, Pfizer, The Medicines Co., Scimed, Avant, Fujisawa, Wyeth-Ayerst, Proctor & Gamble, Aquasearch, Cardiac Focus, Novartis, Oscor, Fujisawa, Cambridge Heart, Proctor & Gamble, Cardiome, Myogen, Biosense Webster, ACS, Biotronik, Scios, Corgentech, ev3, AmeriSham and GlaxoSmithKline.
We are also members of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, are certified in transportation of dangerous materials and have completed NIH research ethics training.
