Welcome to Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute (TCI)

Thoracic and Cardiovascular Institute (TCI) has been serving the mid-Michigan community for over 35 years. Our vision is to be the premier heart and vascular specialists in our region. In addition, we strive to provide excellent communication with our referring physicians.

TCI continues to advance its practice. This past year we added a 64 Slice CT Scanner to our Lansing office. This scanner uses state-of-the-art technology that rapidly allows the physician to more accurately diagnose a patient's condition while sparing discomfort, cost, and long exam times. It is only one of the ways TCI is growing to serve our patient's needs.

We have also received our accreditation in our nuclear cardiology laboratories in Lansing and Mt. Pleasant and echocardiology in Lansing, Mount Pleasant, St. Johns, Charlotte, Owosso, and Eaton Rapids. Accreditation signifies that the facility follows approved testing and training protocols and has been reviewed by an independent agency, which recognizes the laboratory's commitment to quality testing for the diagnosis of heart disease.

TCI has offices in Lansing, Mt. Pleasant, Owosso, Charlotte, Eaton Rapids, St. Johns, and Carson City. We are proud of our commitment to provide the best patient care for our communities. Our physicians are some of the best in their fields and they remain on the cutting edge of research with the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Health Foundation.

Our staff works closely with patients and referring physicians to ensure a positive experience. We employ nurse practitioners and physician assistants to streamline office procedures to improve how patients experience their visits. Our nurses, who are some of the most professional in their field, share with our office staff a full commitment to our patients' well being. We strive to make communication among patient, physician, and referring physician open and clear.
